01 — The opportunity

One full-funnel mandate.

Huxberry is building a leading direct-to-consumer sleep brand for the UAE. We are looking for a hands-on marketing leader who can turn customer insight, distinctive content, paid acquisition, conversion, lifecycle growth and intelligent automation into profitable revenue.

This is not a narrow performance marketing role. You will own the commercial performance of huxberry.com, Huxberry’s content strategy and editorial quality, and the AI-first operating system behind both.

You should be equally comfortable reviewing contribution margin with the CEO, defining a six-month content strategy, shaping a video script, inspecting a Meta campaign, diagnosing a Shopify funnel and personally prototyping an AI workflow.

02 — What you will own

Content, commerce and the system connecting them.

  • Profitable DTC revenue from huxberry.com and the growth KPI tree behind it.
  • Huxberry’s brand narrative and content strategy across the website, organic social, video, search, lifecycle channels and product education.
  • A complete content creation and distribution system: audience insight, editorial pillars, calendar, briefs, production, review, repurposing, publishing and learning.
  • Editorial quality. You will write, edit, brief and critique important work while building a network of creators and production partners.
  • Organic content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, SEO and AEO, email, WhatsApp and other useful channels.
  • UGC, creator, influencer, review and customer-story programs with clear rights, briefs, quality standards, distribution and measurement.
  • Paid acquisition across Meta and Google, grounded in unit economics and disciplined experimentation.
  • A performance creative system connecting customer research, concepts, hooks, formats, production cadence, results and learning.
  • Shopify conversion optimization across landing pages, product pages, merchandising, offers, checkout and mobile experience.
  • Lifecycle growth across email, SMS, WhatsApp, lead nurturing, abandoned cart, post-purchase, referrals and reactivation.
  • Attribution, dashboards, weekly commercial reporting and rapid investigation of performance anomalies.
  • Marketing agencies, freelancers, creators and future internal hires.
  • An AI-enabled marketing operating system for research, creation, analysis, reporting, knowledge capture and workflow automation.

03 — AI-first in practice

Redesign the work, not just the copy.

AI-first does not mean publishing generic content or allowing systems to make uncontrolled budget decisions. It means asking where AI can improve research, creation, analysis, decision support and organizational learning—then building the workflow with clear evaluation and human accountability.

  • Turn reviews, calls, surveys and support conversations into structured customer insight.
  • Develop and evaluate editorial concepts, briefs, scripts, edits, variants and repurposed assets without producing generic output.
  • Investigate performance changes across ads, analytics, ecommerce, CRM, creative and financial data.
  • Detect creative fatigue, commercial anomalies, measurement disagreements and emerging customer patterns.
  • Generate structured recommendations for experiments, landing pages, audiences and budget allocation while keeping material decisions human-approved.
  • Automate recurring reporting and alerts with documented inputs, evaluation and failure handling.

04 — What success looks like

Your first 90 days.

30 days

Establish a trusted commercial baseline; audit brand, content, data and AI readiness; agree the KPI tree, audience priorities, editorial pillars and first workflow roadmap.

60 days

Run a functioning content calendar and production rhythm; deploy at least two adopted AI-first workflows; improve creative-testing cadence, reporting and funnel visibility.

90 days

Demonstrate measurable progress against agreed commercial, content and AI-adoption targets and install a repeatable operating rhythm the team can scale.

05 — What we are looking for

Evidence of judgment and ownership.

  • 7–12 years of digital marketing experience, including at least three years working directly inside a DTC or ecommerce business.
  • Clear evidence of improving revenue, CAC, conversion, retention, contribution margin, qualified organic demand or content-assisted conversion at meaningful scale.
  • A portfolio of content strategies and finished work demonstrating audience understanding and editorial judgment.
  • Working knowledge of organic social, video, creators and UGC, SEO and AEO, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify, GA4, CRM, CRO, creative testing and attribution.
  • The ability to personally write, edit, brief and critique important content without becoming the production bottleneck.
  • Experience owning a marketing budget and making trade-offs using unit economics rather than platform ROAS alone.
  • Experience leading agencies or specialists while remaining able to inspect and challenge the work yourself.
  • Strong written and spoken English and clear communication in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • At least four working hours overlapping with Dubai business hours.
  • Working AI-first systems, not only tool familiarity or certificates.
  • The ability to prototype with leading models, automation tools, structured prompts, data connections or lightweight agents. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you must be a builder.

Experience with premium, high-consideration, home, furniture, sleep or wellness products is valuable but not mandatory. International ecommerce experience is also valuable.

06 — Hiring process

A straightforward four-stage process.

We keep the process focused and practical. You will not be asked to complete a lengthy take-home case study.

01Application and evidence

Share your CV or LinkedIn profile with short answers covering one growth result, one content example and one AI workflow you personally owned.

02Founder interview

A 45-minute conversation about your decisions, commercial judgment, results and fit with Huxberry.

03Final working session

Discuss a real, anonymised Huxberry marketing problem with us live. There is no lengthy take-home assignment.

04References and offer

We will speak with two recent managers, founders or clients before making the final decision.

07 — Compensation and working model

Remote from India, connected to Dubai.

  • ₹30–40 lakh annual base, depending on demonstrated scope and results.
  • Full-time, remote, India-based role with regular overlap with Dubai.
  • Huxberry will use a compliant employment structure for the selected candidate.
  • Any requested business travel will be agreed in advance and paid by Huxberry.

08 — Apply

Show us what you have actually built.

Send your CV or LinkedIn profile with concise answers to the questions below. Links, working examples and clearly stated personal ownership are more useful than a polished cover letter.

  1. What was the most commercially meaningful DTC result you personally drove? Include the starting point, action, result, period and your exact role.
  2. Link to one content strategy and up to three finished pieces that best represent your judgment. Briefly explain your contribution and the result.
  3. Describe one AI workflow you personally used in content creation or performance marketing. What did it improve, how did you check its work and what remained human-controlled?
  4. What was the largest monthly advertising budget and ecommerce revenue level for which you had direct responsibility?
  5. Which four hours can you normally overlap with Dubai?
  6. What are your current compensation, expected compensation and notice period?
